Website

All the standard pages the site needs are included.

The site will be set up so products and content can be added without needing to rebuild the site later. It will also support a low-stress, easy-to-navigate user experience.

Core pages

  • Home
  • Shop
  • About
  • Contact
  • Blog
  • FAQ
  • My Account
  • Cart and checkout

Extra setup

  • Privacy policy, cookies, terms and returns/refunds pages
  • Navigation and footer structure
  • Basic SEO setup, metadata and search indexing
  • Page structure ready for Irish content later on
  • Blog format for updates, stories, product posts and community updates

Shop

The shop will be built for physical products only.

WooCommerce will be configured so products can be uploaded and managed with the right variant options from the outset.

  • Physical product listings
  • Sizes, colours and bundle variants
  • Stock control and product editing
  • Product images, descriptions and pricing
  • Standard cart, checkout and account flow

Shipping

Royal Mail shipping can be calculated automatically.

Live shipping rules can be set up through Royal Mail pricing so postage is worked out for the customer at checkout.

The recommendation would still be free UK shipping if the margins allow it, because it keeps the checkout simpler and usually converts better. If you prefer to show postage separately, the Royal Mail calculation can be built into the checkout instead.

Email

Domain-based email can be set up through Zoho.

If the domain is purchased, the technical setup can be handled and free email accounts can be created through Zoho.

Zoho's free plan allows up to 5 users, so it is a good low-cost way to keep the business looking professional while still owning the domain in her name. The email setup is included as part of the service.

Hosting

Hosting is included for the first year.

Hosting is included for 12 months from website completion, so there is no immediate extra setup cost after launch. Ongoing maintenance and security updates can continue after the first year if required.

After that first year, hosting and server space would continue at around £30 to £50 per month, depending on traffic and the level of maintenance the site needs.

Next steps

Pay to get started once the direction is approved.
